Judy Ferony: I'd
be happy with Blogger if the stuff they've already rolled out works
like its suppose to; ever since they require you to have the warning
about cookies for the European audience the warning don't work and I've
tried changing themes, removing ads ... Blogger was so much cooler
before Google bought it. Now they have their eye on Twitter, there goes
the neighborhood!

Daniel Pantoja: As
an experiment, I've just made another 'mobile blog' by sending an email
to go@blogger.com. I got an answer asking me sending an email with the
word 'REGISTER', so I did it. Then I received a new blog url, and a code
to claim it, in go.blogger.com ...wich is unavailable.
All the process it's a nonsense. Why create a blog that needs a code that has to be inserted in a site wich is no longer available? What happen then with all those blogs, unlinked and unavailable? What are you thinking, Blogger? That blog I made it's like, 'Ah, so you want to post something here? Guess what? You can't, ha ha ha!' :/

Ryan: I
love a lot of things about blogger but it could certainly use some
basic upgrades. Blogger could use drop down menus in the navbar and more
than a 20 page limit. Should such basic features be that difficult for a
multi-billion dollar corporation to provide? Just curious.
If your readers love to pin your blog posts on Pinterest, you'll be happy to know we've added Pinterest to the share buttons you can show beneath your posts.
Don't have share buttons, and want to add them? Head to the Layout tab of your Blogger dashboard, select 'Edit' in the 'Blog posts' section, and check the box marked 'Show share buttons.'
Enjoy!

Kirk Mathew Gatzka: It
appears that my blog template over writes the settings for the share
buttons. I have them turned ON but they do not show on my blog at all.
What can I do about this? +Blogger http://gatzkart.blogspot.com
I had to go to AddThis to get code to add to my theme the Buttons. Seems to work fine, using their script code in the <body> of my html. Was not destructive to my theme or blog at all. I can post the same as usual. It runs a bit slower on opening the main page, but I have the share Buttons now.

So many great videos. Keep 'em coming +Mike Downes. #blogger *Episode 8*
With over 160 blogs, all built with +Blogger , Google offers a lot to learn from. There's also the other sites offering inspiration, good causes and opportunities to reflect. It's easy to watch this clip, but harder to exlpore for yourself and choose something to follow. Google Blogs follow a pattern, white background, large left column, smaller on the right - simple no frills, clean and crisp.

Michael L: Any change that improves the blog readers experience is welcome. I am sure Google keeps this in min when making their updates.
Does the update work the same in classic view and dynamic view? On the +Apparel Search blog we currently use Dynamic but am thinking of changing because dynamic appears to have limitations. Example, doesn't show footer widgets and I don't think it works with Pinterest. Anyway, does the Adsense changes work on all views?

it would be nice to be able not only to share posts from blogger to

ability to share fullsized pics via url (which google+ desparately

+Petra Muchova yes, you can :)
+Michael Lander as far as I know the limit is endless. for example, check out www.carscoops.com or www.spoilertv.com as two Blogger sites with LOTS of labels (both organized really well!)
+Laqueta Hodge there are also LOTS of sites that can provide you with gorgeous templates for free or for minimal fees. Or designers (such as my company) that build them custom.
+Bernie J Mitchell what is the blog url? I'll check it out as well :)
+Mike Meraz a template to use for a photo blog? or just a way to share photos? I mean, http://picasaweb.google.com is there if you're just looking to share your photos...
+Paul D Lefebvre not automatically, no, but manually, of course you can!
+Béatrice Karjalainen have you tried the really cool Google+ photo editing tools? all of the photos that you add via Blogger, or add via Google+ but add to your site via your Google+ Albums, can be edited there.

The US government thinks it can get their hands on your data without a warrant. (At Blogger, we push back when they try.) We think they should need a warrant to see anything that's yours, whether online or offline. This petition to the White House needs your signature by Thursday to get a response, so tell the government to get a warrant: http://goo.gl/CtILX1

Holly Brink: Have
you ever used your PC at home to find swap or swap MP3 files with
another music-lover? Are you addicted to chatting with friends on
Instant Messenger of IRQ? Then—maybe even without realizing it—you have
used peer-to-peer networking.
In traditional client-server networking, servers control the flow of data to and from the clients. A server is kind of like a waiter in a diner; you (the client) tell the waiter what you want, and the waiter goes into the kitchen, gives the order to the cook, and then brings you what you requested. By contrast, peer-to-peer (P2P) networking allows PCs to share Internet access and other resources without using a central server. In other words, there is a direct connection between users. It would be like going into the diner’s kitchen and picking out what you want yourself.
You can use P2P to “talk” in real time with others. Anyone on the network can send documents, files, and even entire programs to anyone else on the network. And even more importantly, you can take data from any hard drive that is attached to the network.
Here’s how P2P works; Once you have downloaded the proper software onto your hard drive, you can connect to others who are using the same software. You can then make any information on your hard drive available to other network users, and you can access the data that other users have made public. You can also block access to any data you don’t wish to share.
You might be thinking, “But I can already share files with other people by attaching them to an email.” True enough. But you are not communicating directly with the recipient. If you want something on your friend Rachel’s hard drive, for instance, you have to ask her for it and she has to send it to you. P2P lets you “reach into” Rachel’s hard drive and—as long as she has made the data public—pick out what you want.
P2P makes it easier for people with similar interests or goals to find each other and exchange information. There are plenty of P2P classroom applications, too. For example, suppose your history teacher assigned you and five other students to create a presentation about the work of Martin Luther King, Jr. You could create a P2P network with your workgroup partners to share files and other relevant data or even have online discussions about the project. You could see one another’s work and immediately give (or get) feedback. The flow of data is easy to track, and you can save your discussions for future reference.

A look back on how the world searched in 2014.
This year people searched for everything under the sun and beyond, from distant comets to tiny burritos. And they asked Google important questions like, “where do we come from?” and “should I get married?”
That’s why today we’re launching our annual #YearinSearch , a look back at the searches, questions and moments that defined 2014.
Watch the film, explore the site and relive the year along the way. www.google.com/2014

Heads up that a #mobilefriendly label is coming to Google search results. Want to make sure your blog is mobile optimized? Just follow the steps below.
It’s a frustrating experience to come across a site that doesn’t work well on a mobile device, so we're starting to tell mobile searchers which results are #mobilefriendly . For those who have sites that aren’t yet mobile-friendly, we’re here to help with new tools and documentation:
The Mobile-friendly test lets you see if a particular page is mobile-friendly: http://goo.gl/CYEBZK

Blogs are a great way to be creative, so we thought we’d highlight a few folks using Blogger in unique and interesting ways.
At Pt England School in Auckland, New Zealand, every student has a blog to share the latest on what they’re learning and creating. Lesieli, a prolific blogger in 7th grade, uses hers to keep friends and classmates up-to-date with her schoolwork and holiday trips to Tonga.
Check out a few of the students’ blogs and show the next generation of bloggers some support!

Eles me condenam todo dia em conselhos falsos e
com gente paga para mentir. Roubam o meu DNA da minha mestruação e meus
cabelos.
favor publique e divulgue

Kelly Brito: +Jared Allaway There
are tons of use for a Link Page tab. Link to Facebook page, Twitter,
Instagram and other social medias. Link to selected categories (as
Blogger doesn't offer that naturally), link to an archive page (which
also needs to be created with 3rd part plugins), link to a contact page,
etc.
Seriously, creating buttons or CSS menus to link to external pages is OK, but who on Earth has time to do that when we can simply link from the menu? +Blogger definitely gave a step back with this one. I'm sure they'll add it again soon.

Tip #13: Blog Disappeared
Has your blog disappeared from your dashboard - kinda like Frosty the Snowman on a hot day?
If this has happened to you it could be one of four things: accidental deletion, custom domain settings, search visibility settings or policy/terms of service violations.
To diagnose your issue and learn what actions you can take, check out this helpful article:

Kacper Rucinski: Why
don't you email the White House? No, seriously, Google does not do any
domain registration. On the other hand, they have a very cute search
engine that will let you search for "domain registration".
The choice is huge, the rules are simple: read reviews, don't go for the cheapest, use a registrar geographically close to you.

It is not uncommon that we ask help from our friends to figure out how to improve our template or set up a custom domain.
Giving admin rights to someone else gives that person the permission to remove the creator from the blog, so think well before giving someone that power!
